Last Session - Pulling it all together!

The last session has come around quickly and we worked hard today to get the final pieces of work for the banner finished.  It was a team effort with some folk pinning the railway tracks down and someone else sewing in on the machine.  Others painting our 'signature' for the back panel of the banner and another person working on their giant button.  We also managed to squeeze in a song and a cake to help Alan celebrate his birthday.  A busy, fun and productive morning.  Over to Amanda and Katie now to sew it all together! Deciding which order the layers will go in so its tells the story of Carlisle's weaving history partly in a timeline and partly in what is aesthetically pleasing!   Our signatures for the back panel Ken working on his giant button Discussing how we want the banner to look and then trying to photograph it so we remember when we come to sew it!
