We are fortunate to have a farmer in our midst! Hazel, who has attended the group for many years, is very familiar with wool and brought in a fleece from her own sheep. After a couple of cycles through the washing machine it was smelling fresh and clean and ready to be part of her section for the banner. For the base she chose to build on a previous piece of work she had done depicting her field and life as a farmers. All the squares representing different times of year in the fields are different Linton Tweed fabrics. It was lovely to see this work taking shape.
